In this tutorial you will learn how to make a night vision effect in After Effects.
Why?
Night vision goggles are expensive and you might not want to buy a pair just for a shot you want to make! It is used to create realism, increase tension and suspence.
Night vision is used in some horror movies, modern war movies and documentaries.
Quick Steps
- Import footage and apply noise effect
- Add levels effect and curves effect and adjust properties
- Add two green solids. Make the top one 5% transparency. The bottom one change the transfer mode to classic colour burn.
